This policy explains what personal data I collect through kovalov.tattoo, why I process it, and what rights you have.

Data controller

The controller is Andrey Kovalov, a tattoo artist working in Prague. Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.

What data I process

  • Contact details — name, phone, e-mail, or your Telegram / WhatsApp handle.
  • Enquiry content — the description of your idea, placement, size, and any other information about the planned tattoo.
  • Technical data — anonymised information about your visit to the site (with your consent, via cookies).
  • Enquiry delivery — when you submit the brief, the completed data reaches me through the site's server and arrives as a Telegram notification. This makes sure the enquiry isn't lost if your messenger fails to open. The data is used only to get back to you and is not passed to third parties.

Purpose and legal basis

  • Handling your enquiry — to contact you and prepare a design. Legal basis: steps taken prior to entering into a contract.
  • Analytics and marketing — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

I never sell your data and never use it for any other purpose.

Necessary cookies are always active. Analytics and marketing cookies run only with your consent. You can manage your consent through the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer.

Retention period

Contact details and enquiry content are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, and no longer than 2 years from our last contact. Data processed on the basis of consent is kept until that consent is withdrawn.

Sharing with third parties

To run the site I use Telegram, WhatsApp, and analytics tools. These processors act only on my instructions and in accordance with the GDPR. Data is not shared with third parties for any other purpose.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right:

  • to access your data and receive a copy,
  • to have inaccurate data corrected or incomplete data completed,
  • to erasure (the "right to be forgotten"),
  • to restrict processing,
  • to data portability,
  • to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time,
  • to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
